I just love small weddings! I mean do not get me wrong, I love big party weddings as well but there is just something touching about a small, intimate ceremony. Loralee and John were married at the Officer’s Club in Camp Lejune, NC.
Hearing John’s and Loralee’s vows to each other was very heartfelt, and touching. If you know me, you know I was crying! There is something so incredibly touching about a Marine’s wedding. Here are these incredible people, that love each other beyond words, and their sacrifice for our country is so pronounced and apparent as John stands there in his dress blues. As they walked down the dock to take photos with their bridal party, I loved the imagery of John carrying Loralee’s dress as they walked forward. I feel it shows the compassion of a Marine, as well as the incredible strength of a Marine’s bride. I am so thankful that Loralee and John chose me to be their wedding photographer. I could have taken photos of them for days! Every time they looked at each other they were drawn to a kiss. I was spellbound watching their love for one another and I hope that love moves mountains.
