In My Camera Bag

Thought I would share a little of what I have stashed in my camera bag!

Firstly, I have to say that I bought my first camera just 3 years ago. I started with a Nikon D-60 with the 18-55 Kit Lens and an awesome little sling backpack and loved it!
You can take a great picture with any camera.

Secondly, Kelly Moore makes these amazing bags for men and women. Perfect for on the go, and staying stylis (And not feel like you are heaving a big black book bag everywhere).
My bag is the B-Hobo in Grassy Green because the color green makes me happy.

I shoot with a Nikon D-7000.
I love how it gives me everything I need. (Even though my next purchase is a full frame)

I carry a couple different lenses with me at all times because I never know what I will want to shoot.

My work horse is the Nikkor 24-70mm 2.8.
It is an amazing lens for weddings and family portraits. It is my ‘go to’ if I do not want to be changing lenses alot.

My Ol’ Faithful is the Nikkor 50mm 1.8
This lens is perfect for low light situations!

My new Favorite is the Nikkor 60 mm 2.8 Micro
There is something magical about shooting Micro. Seeing the tiny details in things brings you into a whole other world.

My camera strap was made by a great friend  as a gift. It is super soft and I love the fun pattern.
(It even matches my bag)

I carry along the SB-900 in case I am need of some extra light. (AA batteries are a must)
Plenty of SD Cards.
My remote trigger. The ML-L3  (For self portraits or long exposures)

An extra battery, charged up and ready
A Lens Pen for cleaning my lenses
As well as my handy dandy tripod

It has taken a lot of penny pinching and I feel like I am happy with my gear.

These are my wish-list items

Nikkor 50 1.4G

Nikkor 85 1.4G

Nikkor 70-200 2.8

Nikon D800

A girl can always dream right??

But if dreaming big of dreamy lenses and gear is WAY out of your price range, I suggest you take them for a test drive using the amazing

LensProToGO

They are an incredibly awesome rental company that allows you to use their lenses for extended periods. Its a great way to see if you like the way a lens shoots before you purchase it.
They even sell their used lenses, which is where I got my 24-70 for an incredible price!

There it is folks! What do you shoot with? I would love to hear! Write in the comments below! 🙂
